Wall Certificate Course Evaluation and Statement of Understanding Form
Hands-on Skill Practice Students will practice the essential skills in small groups and will apply these skills in scenario sessions during the course. Course Duration Assessment Students are assessed throughout the course by instructor observation of the essential skills. There is also a summative assessment of knowledge and skills at the end of this course.
The First Aid at Work course is designed to train individuals and company staff that requires HSE approved First Aid at work training to meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (1981) Regulations. This course will provide all the required first aid skills necessary to manage a patient that is not breathing normally, is unconscious, bleeding or is ill or injured prior to the arrival of the emergency services. It also covers other topics such as COSHH, RIDDOR and other First Aid health and safety at work information. The First Aid at Work course is designed to meet the requirements of the HSE Health and Safety at Work (1981) Regulations for First Aid in the Workplace. The initial course is delivered over a minimum of days (18 contact hours). The 2 day refresher course covers the complete syllabus and updates any changes to procedures or protocols. This course also meets the First Aid requirements of the Department for Children, Schools and Families for First Aid in Schools.
